My name is Dale Mortensen and I am running for re-election to the Montana Legislature in House District 44 which represents the West Half of the Billings Heights.
I am a fourth generation Montanan and was born in Helena, Montana where my family worked and also ranched to get by. After graduating high school, I attended MSU and graduated with a degree in Social and Criminal Justice.
In 1990, I joined the Law Enforcement Community as a Police Officer and Deputy Sheriff in the Bozeman area and then in the Hardin area. In 2004, I started my own fulltime business as in investigation and security consultant. In 2006, my wife and one son moved to Billings and the Billings Heights has been our home since.
I strive to fight for the Billings Heights and create jobs all across Montana by trimming government, reducing regulations, lowering taxes and supporting the responsible development of all of our natural resources including livestock, agriculture, gas, coal and oil.
